Academy 2nd XV are one of 10 teams to receive Power NI branded kits after entering the Power NI 'win a rugby kit' competition. The 2012-13 season will see Academy 2nd XV in a new kit sponsored by Power NI. Thanks to Lee Moody for spotting the opportunity and getting the Club to enter.

Archie Montgomery whilst on a recent tour to Armoy for a 1st Round Cup game in the McCambley Cup suffered a deep laceration on his left temple. This was a rather nasty gash which required immediate medical attendance. Archie has made a full recovery and for future away trips Archie has been presented with head protection by his fellow travellers.



Uncle Archie is presented with some head protection by Coach Petrie for his next trip to Armoy RFC prior to the Crawford Cup 1st Round game against Coleraine 3rds on 3rd January 2011.
