Mini Report Bangor

Under 8's/2002
 
We had 8 kids attend our away fixture against Bangor.
Jack,Daniel,Matthew,Patrick,Rob,Nik,Ben and Joseph.
 
We played 3 games of 10mins.
The first game was very one sided  with  scores from Jack,Joseph, Nik,Matthew and Ben.
Bangor's tackling was  not there and our kids took full advantage of this.
 
The second game was more off the same with lots of scores for Academy .Bangor started to improve their tackling and managed to score a try themselves with their player braking through 3 tackles and scoring a fine try.
 
The final game was a real contest with Bangor  tackling very well.The half time score was 0-0 with Academy having to defend their line at times.The second half started off well for Academy with Jack scoring.Bangor responded to the score and started to run well .Academy held out for long periods with excellent tackles  being made round the legs . Eventually Nik scored in the corner to ease the pressure and Ben finished of the game by scoring also.
 
Overall it was a great day for the kids with some excellent tackles from Jack ,Nik and the rest of the team.
Back to training this Saturday.
